CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide volunteer advocacy and support for at-risk children and youth, empowering families to thrive. We serve children who have experienced abuse, neglect, truancy, or chronic absenteeism through our CASA Volunteer and Family Engagement Programs. These programs focus on recruiting, screening, training, and professionally supervising community volunteers who work one-on-one with a child or sibling group. This individualized advocacy model allows volunteers to build trust and provide consistent, individualized support that promotes each child’s safety, stability, and overall well-being. In helping CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties meet its overall objective of providing a caring volunteer for every child in need, the Grants Manager performs all grant-related fundraising efforts to support our programs and mission.
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), hybrid position with working hours split between home and CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties’ main office located at 11860 Pecos Street, Suite 2700, Westminster, CO 80234
Reports To: Development Director
Description of Duties:
Grant Management & Compliance
  • Write and submit grant applications, reports, and all necessary communications in a timely, professional  manner to private foundations, corporations, local, state, and federal government programs, and other  funding sources as applicable.
  • Maintain an accurate grants calendar, tracking deadlines for applications and reports. Keep a running  budget of prospective and awarded funding opportunities.
  • Monitor grant compliance, ensuring timely submission of reports and adherence to funder  requirements.
  • Work with the Program Director to capture children-served projections and program outcomes,  determine evaluation methods, collect and analyze data, and report on program results. Learn to  independently pull relevant data as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic records of grant-related activities, including proposals, reports,  correspondence, and notes, entering information into SharePoint and the Bloomerang database.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Bookkeeper to ensure grants are properly set up in  QuickBooks and expenditures are accurately tracked.
Strategic & Collaborative Responsibilities
  • Represent CASA’s mission with passion, effectively telling the CASA story through data, impact  narratives, and community outcomes.
  • Contribute to innovative and strategic planning to enhance the organization’s fundraising and grantwriting capacity.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential grant opportunities and strategic  partnerships.
  • Coordinate prospect research and outreach with the Development Director to identify and secure new  grant funding opportunities.
  • Assist the Development Director in developing grant funding projections for current and future fiscal  year budgets.
  • Actively participate in bi-weekly Development Team meetings, collaborating to plan and implement  comprehensive fundraising and grant strategies.
  • Communicate grant awards, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations with the Leadership  Team on an ongoing basis.
Professional Development & Other
  • Attend networking events, informational meetings, and educational opportunities as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including participation in relevant regional and national  organizations and training opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.  Minimum Qualifications for Position:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Work, Business, or a relevant field, OR equivalent professional  experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or a related position.
  • Extremely organized, efficient, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work independently and manage  multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail while understanding the larger organizational and programmatic context.
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing organizational needs.
  • Respect for confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Understanding of and commitment to working competently with diverse populations and families.
  • Familiarity with the Denver nonprofit community and knowledge of major funders.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national grant procedures and nonprofit funding practices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret program data to support grant applications, reporting, and strategic  decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and diverse funding streams while meeting all deadlines.
  • Ability to travel within Adams and Broomfield Counties as needed.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings or weekends as required.

Compensation:
This is a full-time position. Benefits include unlimited paid time off, professional development opportunities,
matching 401k, medical, dental, life insurance. The salary range for this position is $58,000-$61,000.
